Hi, I’m Rashmi, founder of Yoga For Better You—a certified yoga instructor and dedicated practitioner passionate about helping people heal, grow, and transform through a holistic, sustainable approach to wellness.
My yoga journey began decades ago during a phase of chronic pain, fatigue, and imbalance brought on by modern work culture, long hours, and constant stress. Like many, I believed wellness meant pushing harder and doing more. Yoga taught me something deeper—true well-being comes from listening to the body, calming the mind, and building strength with awareness.
Through mindful movement, conscious breathing, and consistency—not intensity, I experienced real healing. What began as self-care gradually became a calling. Today, I guide others using the same principles that transformed my life—helping them feel stronger, calmer, and more balanced in a way that fits their real life needs and goals.
For me, yoga is not just a workout. It is a way to restore balance, reconnect to inner strength, and create lasting well-being that supports everyday living.
Rooted in authentic yogic traditions and thoughtfully adapted for modern life, my teaching integrates asana (posture), pranayama (breathwork), meditation, and yogic lifestyle principles. Guided by the essence of Ashtanga Yoga, the practice builds strength, flexibility, mobility, and mental clarity, while supporting recovery from physical discomforts and postural or functional imbalances— enhancing everyday wellbeing and quality of life.
I believe:
Every session is designed to be accessible, safe, and empowering, meeting you where you are—without judgment or overwhelm.
Yoga For Better You was born from personal experience and years of working with people navigating modern challenges—weight gain, stress, poor sleep, posture-related strain from sedentary lifestyles, hormonal changes, chronic pain, postpartum recovery, and the physical and emotional transitions that come with different stages of life.
At Yoga For Better You, we honor yoga’s traditional roots while thoughtfully adapting the practice to today’s bodies, schedules, and responsibilities. The intention is simple: to make yoga accessible, inclusive, and practical, so it supports real life—not just the mat.
This work is deeply personal. I’ve seen how mindful movement, breathwork, and consistent practice can help people reconnect with their bodies, regain confidence, and move through life with greater ease. When practiced with patience and care, yoga becomes a powerful tool for strength, balance, and resilience.
Yoga For Better You is not about perfection.
It’s about progress, presence, and a practice that supports you today and for years to come, on and off the mat.
